About JH Spain
In 1983, JH Spain was founded in Concord New, Hampshire by Joseph H. (Joe) Spain. While a great many things have changed since then, the core values on which Joe founded the company remain steadfast and still drive us today.
From the very beginning, we have developed strong and lasting relationships throughout the community and have maintained a reputation of high-quality work delivered with professionalism, on time and on budget. We’re grateful for the privilege to serve clients in the central New Hampshire region for over 35 years, completing projects that range from large-scale commercial fit-ups, developing & constructing condominiums & residential neighborhoods to building ground up commercial projects.
Joe Spain, our founder and president, is a highly engaged executive and company leader. While the business landscape of New Hampshire has changed immeasurably, for Joe, good humor and family values remain a constant. His commitment to these values remains as solid as the granite his grandfather mined at the nearby Swenson quarries so long ago.
Joe’s artistic eye and dedication to fine quality are, in large part, the legacy of his father, one of the region’s respected practitioners of the fine art of sign painting. Joe encourages team interaction and collaboration. He brings energy, integrity and ingenuity to every project – regardless of the size or challenge. Every client of JH Spain has the benefit of Joe’s involvement as he is committed to being fully engaged with every project from the smallest to the largest.
Our goal is to establish ourselves on the basis of performance as a client or owner’s preferred construction manager and general contracting firm. We consciously pursue this goal each and every day while working to best serve our clients and the communities in which we work.
- We will measure our success by our ability to maintain honesty, dignity and focus in the conduct of our business.
- We will only undertake assignments where we can be proud of our participation.
- We will cherish our reputation for professionalism, performance, integrity and versatility within the industry and among our clients.
The family and community values that Joe Spain grew up with are carried into his professional life and demonstrated by the spirit of giving back that runs through the company culture. Joe places a high personal priority on community service so that his company’s success will always lead to improved lives and assistance to those who need it.
